Why Bookmark Reading Charity?
We’re delighted to partner with Bookmark Reading Charity, an organisation dedicated to helping children develop essential reading skills.
Bookmark Reading Charity works hard to support children who struggle with reading, providing them with the tools and confidence they need to succeed. By partnering with them, Supporting Education Group will help foster a love of reading and learning in young minds.
Bookmark focuses on the needs of children from disadvantaged communities who face the biggest barriers. They want every child to have the joy of reading to help create opportunities and change lives.
How will Supporting Education Group help?
Our reading volunteers will help a child who needs extra support through a 12-week one-to-one reading programme. This involves 30 minutes of reading support on a weekly basis during school hours.
Supporting Education Group recognises that volunteering not only benefits the children we help but also enriches our own lives. It’s a chance to develop new skills, connect with colleagues and contribute to a cause that makes a real difference. Together, we can widen our impact and help create a brighter future for the next generation.
