Workload
Reducing workload (through different means) is a key lever for recruiting and retaining staff, pay is also a key lever and is seen as relatively more important.
Support measures
Analysing learner attainment data, and lesson observations have high deployment as tools to manage and develop staff; more supportive measures are used less often.
Continuing Professional Development
Going forwards, school leaders expect to be providing more enhanced CPD, providing greater curriculum support, setting clear objectives for their staff, and using less internal cover.
