Thrive’s Podcast Leads the Conversation in Social and Emotional Development
February 2, 2022

Supporting Education partners Thrive are equipping educators with the information they need to emotionally support young people through their regular podcast.

Thrive provides training in social and emotional development to teachers and other professionals who work with children. Over 2,000 schools have benefited from the patented Thrive Approach, a trauma-sensitive apparatus for promoting resilience among young people.

Since launching in 2019, Thrive’s podcast, Connected, has served as a hub for conversations among leading educationalists about the latest thinking on emotional health. Episodes have touched on topics from self-care techniques to the neuroscience of behaviour management, bringing together insights from experts in a range of related fields.

The most recent episode focuses on a fascinating new initiative at an infant school in Hertfordshire where teachers are encouraging children to name their emotions and think through how they impact their behaviour. You can listen to it on Thrive’s website here, or on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
