Talking Talent – the complete first season

Over the last three months, Supporting Education Group has been Talking Talent. Mandy Coalter of Talent Architects and hundreds of MAT and school leaders have joined the conversation alongside SEG’s Penny Swain.

The initial Talking Talent sessions demonstrated how talent management is integral to your wider school or trust improvement strategy. Each focused on building the infrastructure required to manage recruitment and retention holistically. Here are the recordings of the three sessions covering people strategy, leadership, and marketing. We hope you find them useful.

Session One – Recruitment and Retention in Challenging Times

The challenges facing schools and how we got here. Mandy Coalter outlines the trends that are making it harder for schools to recruit and retain the staff they require and what the practical steps needed to do something about it.

Session Two – Leadership, Culture and Climate

Understanding the importance of leadership in creating the right culture and climate can influence and build thriving whole school communities.

Session Three – Marketing Your School as a Great Place to Work

With the competition to recruit the best permanent teaching and specialist support staff more challenging than ever, we provide everything you need to attract the best candidates for your vacancies.

Supporting Education Group is uniquely placed to help school and trust leaders meet every talent management challenge. Through our expertise in recruitment, staff development, leadership pathways, wellbeing, workload and retention of staff, we will help you identify and meet the challenges your school or trust faces.
