SEG Strategy Director Named as a Woman to Watch in Education
July 21, 2022

Supporting Education Group’s Strategy Director, Sam Raven, has been named as one of Business Women in Education’s Women to Watch.

This inaugural shortlist celebrates the women across the world who are ‘empowering, inspiring and supporting others in the business of education’. Sam has been selected as one of 12 ‘trailblazers’ in the sector. The non-competitive shortlist also encompasses seven other categories:

  • Diversity and Inclusion Champions
  • Early Years
  • Ed Tech and Digital Transformation
  • Founders
  • Higher and Further Education
  • K12
  • Leadership

Sam joined us in March 2022 after four-years at PwC’s Strategy& consulting unit. Her work here encompasses corporate development, strategy and mergers & acquisitions. Sam has been guided over her eight years working in education by a dedication to the cause of socioeconomic and gender equality, co-founding a Women in Business work experience scheme for Year 10 girls while working as a maths teacher and supporting in the development of a Women’s Network at Strategy&. This award is yet further testament to that passion and initiative.

Congratulations to Sam for this exceptional achievement, from all of us at SEG.
