How Supporting Education partners are helping thousands of pupils through the National Tutoring Programme
November 3, 2021

For the second consecutive year,  three  Supporting  Education partners  â€“  Teaching Personnel, Protocol Education  and  Fleet Tutors  â€“  are  providing  high-impact  tutoring  in schools  as Official Tuition Partners of the  National Tutoring Programme  (NTP).

The NTP is a major government programme  designed to  tackle the  pupil attainment gaps  and learning loss  caused by  the pandemic.  The scheme gives schools the funding to run  small-group  tutoring sessions  for  their most disadvantaged pupils  to help them catch up after the disruption of the last two years.

Supporting Education is  deeply proud  of the  integral role  we  are playing  in this  urgent  project.  The NTP has already made a material difference  to millions of children’s prospects, with much more to come.

As part of the NTP, Teaching Personnel delivered over 300,000 hours of tutoring in over 600 schools during the 2020/21 academic year. The company has calculated the true effects of this intensive tuition on tutees’ learning outcomes in its new  Impact Report. The results make for  encouraging  reading.
